10th annual CROP Hunger Walk and food drive. We collected about 500lbs of food (however, pounds are not officially weighed in yet). We are grateful to the Minnesota Knitter Guild group of knitters for donating 500 hats and about 300 mittens for our Christmas Bag project to help homeless children.

School Supplies Packing:

August 9, 2022

August 9th, 2022 SHFC packed 57 backpacks with school supplies for refugee children. Seven of those bags were given to refugee families who reside in Savage. The rest went to the Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services- Minneapolis. Thank you to all the volunteers for your generosity of time.
