Today was a BIG service day for Sanya’s Hope for Children!
Our day was filled with purpose, teamwork, and giving back to our community. Together, we packed 48 school bags, which will be distributed to local children in need through the Shakopee Community Assistance Program. Collected, sorted, counted, packed, and donated 842 books to Books For Africa (BFA) today. We are grateful to help make books and the joy of reading accessible to children across Africa. Wrapped up the day by sorting fabric that will be used to create Sanya’s Hope for Children bags. None of this would have been possible without the amazing Prior Lake High School Student Council volunteers who generously gave their time, energy, and hearts to make a difference. We are so grateful for each and every one of you! We especially missed Sanya Pirani, the heart behind Sanya’s Hope for Children, who has returned to university. Even though she couldn’t be with us today, her vision and commitment to helping children continue to inspire all of us. A special thank-you to Sam’s Club Shakopee and Jersey Mike’s for providing food and helping fuel our incredible volunteers. Your generosity helped make our service day even more meaningful. What a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when a community comes together to serve. Small acts of kindness can create a big impact.
