Sanya’s Hope For Children 10th Annual Christmas Bag Event
About the Project:The Christmas Bag Project began when Sanya Pirani was just 7½ years old. She hand-sewed 100 bags for local homeless children, filled with school supplies, books, and toys. Over time, the need grew to 500 bags, prompting her to recruit volunteer sewers.Each bag is packed with love and care for children in need right here in our local community.

Time: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM (Please arrive by 9:15 AM)
Start Location: Sanya’s Garage – Prior Lake, MN
Drop-off & Setup Location: Prior Lake Shepherd of the Lake Church – Preschool Entrance
Details: Volunteers will load gifts into cars at Sanya’s Garage -Items will be transported and unloaded at the church-Setup for the packing event will begin immediately after
Refreshments provided by: Donuts provided by Donut Connection- Shakopee

Location: Prior Lake Shepherd of the Lake Church – Preschool Entrance
Details: Assembly line style packing-Each volunteer will pack items into bags based on assigned age ranges
Refreshments provided by: Edelweiss Bakery- Prior Lake -After Second shift

Food Drive Prior Lake Student Council Students also started Food Drive at PLHS for local food shelve in collaboration of Sanya’s Hope For Children. We are hoping to collect 500-1000 lbs of nonperishable food items. We hope you can bring 5 canes of fruits and vegetable to our packing Event or give any amount of donation to help meet our goal. Thank you!
