Yesterday, SHFC successfully concluded our 5th Annual Bowling For Hunger Event. We are truly grateful to the Prior Lake High School student council for collaborating with us for the second year in a row. We were able to achieve our fundraising goal. We collected over 1,000 lbs of food and were able to fundraise $2,000 to help local homeless children and families in need via CAP food shelter. Also, the SHFC sewing team was able to sew 72 book bags for the CAP Head Start program. Thank you to our senators Eric Pratt for Minnesota for supporting us for the last 7-8 years. Thank you Holly from CAP Agency – Community Action Partnership of Scott Carver & Dakota Counties for coming with Joe’s van to bring back the donations. Thank you to all our donors for your generosity of time, knowledge, and resources.
We could not be successful without the help of our community.
