January – Planning phase for the year 2022
January – September- Collecting Fabric from Yetzer’s and Furniture Mart and start sewing 500 bags in preparation for our Christmas/Holiday Bag Packing Event. Lion Club- Burnsville volunteers are collaborating on our sewing project.
*PLHS student council considering partnering with “Bowling For Hunger” (Food Drive) Event-wait for more information.
February- September – Hats/mitten Drive Collaboration Minnesota Knitter’s Guild- SHFC goal 500 Hats/mitten (total fundraising for estimated cost $1,000).
February- April –As part of our GYSD preparation–MN Food Share campaign Fundraising (Food drive- February 28-April 10). The goal is 1,000 lbs. of food and $5,000 –Collaboration with HOMS (Prior Lake Middle School).
April– GYSD Project Celebration- Expanding Kindness through Music- Free Event for the community.
May- Fundraising starts for “Turn Hunger into Hope Event” – Food packing Event – Fundraising Goal $1,000
June – Turn Hunger into Hope – Food packing Event/food drive – Fundraising Goal $1,000
June – Virtual sewing class preparation starts
June- Socks/Underwear’s Drive (total fundraising for estimated cost $1,000).
June- Book Drive– –BFA and Headstart program
July- Virtual sewing class preparation starts
July- Expanding Hope Through Music Fundraiser- Goal 1, 000
July- September –School Supplies Drive for our CBP- Goal $30,000 or 12 school supplies items for 500-550 children –looking for Collaboration

August- Launch Virtual sewing classes

November- Hope For the holiday- Goal $400 or adopting 8 individuals
December- Christmas Bag Packing Event – Goal 500 hand-sewn bags, filled with school supplies, toys/games, books, hats, and mittens.
