Sanya’s Hope For Children (SHFC) is extremely grateful to PLHS student council students for collaborating with SHFC for our Bowling For Hunger Event. We successfully concluded our drive today. 50 students and friends participated. We were able to fundraise $5,000 and a little over 1,200 lbs of nonperishable food items for a local food shelf. In addition, we were able to support the food shelf in St. Paul since we exceeded our food goal. We extend our humble thanks to all our volunteers, donors, community partners, and KSTP-TV for airing our event. Because of you, we were able to fulfill all our goals. A special thanks go to Rachel Anderson, SHFC publicist, for her generosity of time.
