Sanya’s Hope For Children (Non Profit Organization) and Team organized Head Start Awareness event partially funded by YSA (Youth Service America).
Sanya Pirani, a 5th Grader from Jeffers Pond Elementary school, has been awarded a Disney Summer of Service grant through YSA (Youth Service America). The grant will support Sanya Pirani in leading a community service project that addresses the issue of poverty local and global communities. Sanya chose Head Start Awareness and Diaper drive to help local families in need. Her team consists of her friends, Hidden Oaks school student council, volunteers from Prior Lake Honor society, and Sanya’s Hope for Children (nonprofit org). Sanya has collected over 12,000 diapers, spreading the message through social media, libraries, speaking engagements, and more. Sanya just recently started her own nonprofit organization called, “Sanya’s Hope for children.” Her mission is to help marginalized children locally and globally with basic necessities of life that include food, shelter, clothes, safety, and education.

Ms. Pirani is one of 340 young leaders across the country awarded a $500 Disney Summer of Service grant to organize projects to help make their communities healthier, greener and stronger. Grantees will educate and mobilize their peers around the issue of poverty, creating solutions through awareness, service, advocacy, and philanthropic activities.

Sanya is young entrepreneur and philanthropist who has fed so far within 2 years 122,436 meals in Latent, Haiti via FMSC. In 2016 Sanya helped children via CAP agency projects and raised $8,979. She also has a successful food drive, locally and raised 1,364.4 pounds of food. In addition, she raised a little over $1500 for other projects.
