Make a Donation

Dear Donors and Supporters,

Sanya’s Hope For Children team is raising funds to assist families who are living with hunger – will you help me? As you know, it’s been a hard year, and unfortunately, the number of families concerned about their next meal is on the rise.

The CROP Hunger Walk means we can take action for someone experiencing hunger; it means someone will get enough to eat. My goal is to assist as many people as I can…that’s why I’m fundraising for more meals in my community and for long-lasting solutions to hunger around the world like community gardens and small-scale farming.

I would love it if you could help through a donation! The steps we take – and the funds we raise – will make a real impact!

Important Information:
The 8th Annual South of the River CROP Hunger Walk will be modified to reduce community transmission of COVID-19, while still raising funds to end hunger locally and globally one step at a time!

We will not be launching our walk from a single location, but instead are asking all church, family, neighborhood, or workplace teams to walk separately in their own neighborhoods, all starting at 2:00 pm on October 4.  This year, we walk together — but separately!

In our modified form in this year of coronavirus, we will NOT be gathering at a single location to start our walk as in prior years.  Instead, we are asking all teams from churches, family groups, neighborhood groups, or workplaces to walk in your own neighborhoods.  Please keep your group sizes small, and follow any CDC guidance about physical distancing and wearing face coverings.  Plan to start walking at 2:00 pm on October 4, and if you’d like to, post video to our Facebook page (Twin Cities South of the River CROP Walk) or Facebook group.  We will still be walking together to end hunger — we’ll just be walking separately.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world.
